Friday brought a SEA of blue to CAM as we wrapped up an incredible Homecoming week!
The day started with students competing in games in the gym, all trying to earn those last few points toward the Spirit Stick. After the morning fun, everyone enjoyed a delicious lunch featuring hamburgers generously donated by Massena Livestock and prepared by B&T Meats, along with watermelon donated by the Adam and Alex McCunn Family. We are so thankful for the support that helped make lunch possible!
After lunch, it was time to get the class floats ready for the Homecoming Parade. The rain held off for most of the parade, although we did get a little sprinkle toward the end. That didn't stop the fun, as students and community members made their way to the gym for the Homecoming Pep Rally!
And now for the moment everyone was waiting for...
THE SENIORS ARE OUR SPIRIT STICK WINNERS!
It was an incredibly close race, with the Seniors edging out the Juniors by just 5 points!
What a way to finish an amazing Homecoming week! The afternoon was full of Cougar pride, school spirit and plenty of memories.
And to top it all off, our Cougar football team brought home a WIN!
Congratulations, Cougars! What a week!

September is Attendance Awareness Month, and it’s a great reminder that every school day counts!
Regular attendance helps students stay connected, keep up with learning, build strong relationships, and develop habits that support future success. Even a few missed days here and there can add up over the course of the school year.
Thank you to our students, families, teachers, and staff for making attendance a priority. Every day in school is another opportunity to learn, grow, connect, and succeed!

Even though there was no school yesterday, our Junior High and High School students still came in and got a head start on decorating their hallways!
And what better way to kick things off than in PAJAMAS?!
The creativity and school spirit are already showing, and we can’t wait to see these hallways come to life!

Introducing your 2026 CAM Homecoming King & Queen!
Congratulations to Homecoming King Carson McKee and Homecoming Queen Ada Hansen!
This year’s Homecoming Coronation took place on Sunday, September 20, and included a very special Homecoming dedication honoring Mrs. Kay Hansen, a longtime employee of Anita Elementary and later CAM Elementary.
A beautiful moment came when Ada, a member of the Homecoming Court, had the opportunity to greet Mrs. Hansen, give her a hug, and present her with flowers.
Congratulations, Kay, and thank you for the many years of dedication and service to our schools and community!
