Working His Way Through Senior Year

This week's senior spotlight is Jaden McDuff. Jaden has five brothers and three sisters and is the only child left in the house. The three most important things in his life would have to be family, friends, and his income. Jaden is a full time farm laborer working seven days a week. He doesn’t plan to attend college. During his senior year he was looking forward to graduating and getting a full time job so he could start saving money and to buy the things he needs so he can start adulting. The best advice he can give is, “Don’t take anything for granted and enjoy the four years while you can. It will be gone before you know it.” The best advice he has been given is, “Your own happiness is a reflection of your day to day, the things you’re doing, and how you do them.” His favorite memory would have to be when he and two others got in trouble and the teacher asked the three of them to leave the class. He doesn’t think COVID affected his school year because he was online. We wish you the best of luck in your future Jaden!
