“Cheering” Her Way Through Senior Year

This week's senior spotlight is Jade Jackson. Jade has three older siblings, Melissa Hawkins, Felicity Jackson, Scott Jackson, and one younger brother Gavin Clayton.  The three most important things in her life are her friends, family, and money. Jade is involved in cheerleading, dance team, track, and studio dance. Jade will be attending Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge, majoring in Human Services and joining the cheer team.  For her senior year she was mostly looking forward to having more time to work and not be at school so much. Some advice she would give under-classmen would be, “Don't care so much what people think,” and the best advice she has received would be to try your hardest in everything you do.  Jade’s favorite high school memories are prom and State Dance. Out of all the things that changed in her final year, Covid affected State Dance the most. We wish you the best of luck in your future, Jade!
