“Dancing” Her Way Through Senior Year

This week's senior spotlight is Bionca Wendt. Bionca is the daughter of Brian and Kim Wendt and she has three siblings, Brooklyn, Konnor, and Blaire. The three most important things in her life are her friends, family, and her dog. She is involved in NHS, cheerleading, and dance team. She was involved in track and was one of the basketball managers her sophomore and junior year. Bionca plans to go to Iowa Central and attend their Radiology Technology Program. Coming into her senior year she was looking forward to saying “seniority” to all of the underclassmen and participating in her last year of state dance. Bionca’s advice for the underclassmen is, “High school can be stressful at times because of the school work and even having drama with other people. Try your best to stay out of the drama and just focus on becoming a better you. In high school you are going to change and not all your friends will stick with you all four years. Just stay positive!” The best advice she has received was from her mom because she is her best friend and as she says, “mothers know best.” Her advice was about high school and friendships. We wish you the best of luck in your future.
