“Hurdling” His Way Through Senior Year

This week’s senior spotlight is Connor McKee. Connor is the son of Troy and Veronica McKee and has two older brothers, Trevor and Jared. The three most important things in his life are family, God, and friends. Connor has been involved in football, basketball, track, and baseball. His absolute favorite school lunch is the BBQ ribs. Connor’s future plans are to attend college to run track at the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, but is undecided on his major. Coming into his senior year he was looking forward to having a track season, due to not having one last year because COVID hit. COVID has affected his senior year by having a lot of new rules and regulations, but he is very glad that we’re allowed to be back in school. So far, his favorite memory from high school was placing sixth in the 400m hurdles at State Track his sophomore year. Connor’s advice for the underclassmen is to work hard and try your very best in everything you do. We wish you the best of luck in your future!
