“Moo-ving” Her Way Through Senior Year By: Natalie Blaine and Ali Namanny

This week's senior spotlight is Carlee South. Carlee is the daughter of Sean and Michal South and has six siblings, two brothers, and four sisters. The three most important things in her life are her faith, her family, and her food of course. Carlee has been involved in student council, basketball, cross country, yearbook, speech, NHS, and FCA. Her favorite school lunch is chicken fajitas. Carlee’s future plans are to attend Frontier School of the Bible (La Grange, Wyoming) for Youth Ministry and then working on a farm and raising Black Angus cattle. Growing up on a farm, getting to feed bottle calves every day, and raking hay and square baling has helped her most how to decide what she wants to do in her future. Her favorite memory in high school was water testing with Mr. Miller when Taylor and JoAnn fell in the creek and then moments later Mr. Miller fell down the bank of the creek. Her advice for the underclassman is to figure out your schedules as a freshman and have a plan for the rest of your high school career so you can get into classes that will help you with your potential future. The most meaningful assignment was one of the last Composition papers she wrote last year. It was about dangers in the agricultural workplace and since we weren’t in school, it took a lot of self-control and self-discipline to make and find the time to get it done. The best advice she has gotten was from Dave Ramsey- “Live like no one else now and you will live like no one else later.” We wish you the best of luck!
