This quarantine is something that has been harder than expected. It has been strange to stay home for the past two weeks, and not do anything, especially when I spend a lot of time with my friends. Mrs. Miller thought it would be a good idea to share-out what we have been doing over our “break”, and I couldn’t agree more. Here are some things my family and I have been doing to keep busy; my siblings and I cleaned, rearranged, and even painted our basement. We talked our parents into buying us paint so we had something to do that wasn’t on our phones. While we were cleaning, we found our Wii, so naturally we had to set it up and play it. My brother also stays busy by helping out our great grandma, and doing the garbage route with our grandpa. My parents still go to work, so that’s what they do throughout the day. I personally have been practicing throwing the discus some, hoping we still have a track season. I have also done some babysitting for a couple of families in town. My favorite part about this quarantine is that my sister and I decided to make supper for our grandparents. We were going to have them over to eat with us, then have a game night, but my mom thought it would be better to just deliver to them. We made supper, divided it up for our grandparents, and delivered it to their houses. It’s not much, but that’s what my family has done to keep busy. Stay safe and healthy!
