Pennies For Paws

It’s that time again for the Student Council’s Pennies for Paws Project. The members are placing jars out on a table during sporting events as well as lunchtime, and they will remain in the office. The five jars are representing the staff, the seniors, the juniors, the sophomores, and the freshmen. Each dollar and penny placed in the jars counts as positive points, and any silver coin counts for negative points, and all of the proceeds will go to Aheinz57 Pet Rescue and Transport. Deborah McCann, student council advisor, says, “I’m super excited about the project this year. Last year, we raised $600 and it is for a great cause. They travel to different states and rescue animals.” Be sure to donate to the Pennies for Paws Project and thank you to the Student Council for putting it on!
