Kinzie nets "All State" designation

On Saturday, 8 of our Rookie, Intermediate, and JV/Varsity shooters ventured to Oskaloosa for the 2017 SCTP State Sporting Clays meet at the Mahaska County Ike's. Our Rookie/Intermediates shot 10 stations @ 10 rounds per station for a total of 100 clays and our JV/Varsity shooters shot 15 stations of 10 rounds per station for a total of 150.

Christian Kinzie was our top shooter on the day crushing 138/150 and earning himself a 3rd place finish out of 84 shooters in the mens varsity division. Christian's efforts also earned him a 50 straight patch as well as a place on the 2017 Iowa Men's High School All-State Sporting Clays Team!!!!

The varsity squad of Kinzie, Brandon Westphalen, and Kyle Redinbaugh combined for a 364/450 total which placed them 12th of 33 varsity squads.

Here is a complete run down of all shooters on the day. Congrats to all of our shooters on a solid day and again a special thanks to our seniors who shot their last sporting clay event (Kinzie & Redinbaugh).
