SPEECH TEAM EXCELL IN CLASSROOM

IHSSA Award Academic Achievement Honors

    The Iowa High School Speech Association is proud to recognize the CAM School District Speech Department with two Academic Achievement Awards.  The IHSSA Executive Director, Craig Ihnen, commented, “We present this challenge with enthusiasm and fond hope for academic success.”

    The first award goes to the CAM 9th grade students who were involved in Large Group and Individual Speech Contests.  This group of students received an Excellence in Academic Achievement Award.  This award is given to teams achieving a combined grade point average of 3.00-3.24.  Team members include:  Katie Aupperle, Shianne Cavin, Austin Hardisty, Tianna Kinzie, Blake Miller, Mackenzie Schwenke, Tierney Sothman, Tyler Steele, Kourtnie Stephenson, Ty Stuhr, Trace Ticknor, and Brooklyn Wendt.

    The second award goes to the CAM 10th-12th grade students who were involved in Large Group and Individual Speech Contests.  This group also receives an Excellence in Academic Achievement Award because of their combined grade point average of 3.00-3.24.  Team members include:  Jalynn Farmer, Angeline Larsen, Elizabeth Mailander, Emily Maynard, Alex McAfee, Michaela Schwenke, Brett Stakey, Hannah Ankenbauer, Chance Denney, Ali Hosfelt, Trevor McKee, Shaley Winther, Haley Brawdy, Erin Daugherty, Alyssa Kragelund, Cole McAfee, Karli Waters and Jordan Winther.
