CAM FFA Tops The Iowa State Fair

The CAM FFA had nine members showing livestock at the Iowa State Fair eight with lambs and one with swine. Both shows had stiff competition for the members to compete against. Nicki Ohms took nine head of swine to the fair and received multiple blues for her efforts. She had market swine,derby pigs and a purebred York gilt. The other nine members took market and breeding sheep to the fair. The chapter members received over 20 purple ribbons for all of there hard work.  The chapter also received a special award as the Supreme Breeding Sheep Award for the 2010 Iowa State Fair. This award is only given to the top chapter at the Fair. It is special recognition for the number of animals how well they placed and the quality of showmenship by the FFA members.

The members who participated this year were Ethan Wessling, Haley Wessling, Ryan Aupperle, Justin Aupperle, Kelsey Beener, Taylor Dorsey, Caitlin Paulsen, and Ethan Miller
