Down 17 the Cougars could have folded up the tents and taken their upset victory over EHK into the off-season as momentum for the next year. But they weren't thinking of next year, they fought back and were within three points late in the fourth quarter as two shots by Dan Holste missed their mark and several later by Jaxson Armstrong. The courageous comeback fell short.
CAM fell behind right away and were 6-11 points behind most of the first half before Boyer Valley went on a late run to go up 43-26.
But the defense stepped up and a late technical foul led to a Cougar four point possession and it was game on.
