Free service enhances web potential

by Dominic Giegerich

February 19, 2010

A free web service will allow CAM High School to upload and display pictures and video from all activities at the high school and has the potential to live-"stream" events in the future.

"iHigh has been around for several years and they have been reaching out to individual schools and conferences," Dominic Giegerich, CAM Principal said.  "They are sponsored by Coke and a few other major sponsors, so they charge nothing and will even pay us for new visitors so tell your family and friends."

Right now there is not much on, but students are working behind the scenes to gather and upload video and pictures of this years events.

"The media has been produced, we just need to process it," Giegerich added.  "Having the laptops will help as everyone, in theory, could contribute."

Visit often and tell your friends on various networks about iHigh.  It will pay the district $100 a month if traffic is high enough.

"It's a amazing service," Giegerich concluded.
