Due to the mounting number of snow days, the Anita and C & M CSDs have decided to hold school on April 5th, as approved by both boards Monday night, Jan. 18th.  The rest of the days will be added onto the end of the year.

"We've missed Ten days as of Jan. 25th,"  Principal Dominic Giegerich said.  "We've made one up, and this day will cut the number of days added to the end of the year to seven."

Mid-term 3rd quarter will be Wednesday, February. 17th - grades will be handed out at school conferences, February 25th the following week.  Because of a miscalculation on the Master Calendar, 3rd quarter will remain Friday, March 19th.

The state does not require seniors to make up snow days and at the moment the district is not planning on adding days onto the senior's year.

"We are required to schedule seniors for 175 of the 180 days ,"  Giegerich added.  "They will get out May 12th, and adding these two days will help."

Unless there are more days, underclassmen will be getting out May 28th and teachers will have a teacher work day on Tuesday, June 1.?\"

"We're at the limit in terms of NOT going to school in June," Giegerich said.  "If we have any more we may be open to discussing other options to keep us away from going in June."
