State FFA convention

The CAM FFA attended State Convention on April 15-16. The CAM FFA had 3 members receive there Iowa Degree this year Erin Claussen,Jordanne Meyer,Joe Burg. The chapter had one member
Joe Burg to receive the Scholastic award this year which is given to members who have over a 3.5 grade point average. The chapter also had two girls in the State Chorus Kelsey Smith and Jessica Thelen. For the first time in 6 years we had two girls in the talent show Kelsey and Makaye Smith the girls performed in Vets Auditorium in front of about 1500 people and did a excellent job. The CAM FFA also had a member Sammi Bissell run for State office. She made it through 3 different interviews and was selected to be one of the candidates for nth Southwest District President Although it did not turn out the way we would of liked it was a great experience for her.
