6th Grade Science
We have new books in 6th grade science! This is the fourth year in the new books, and students are doing great. We begin the year studying topics in Life Science, followed by Earth Science, and then end the school year with Physical Science.
Ms. Lantzky and I will once again be team teaching the 6th grade students in Science this year. I am very excited and predict that this will be a great year for the students. We plan to integrate technology as much as possible. We already have created a lesson in which the students create an iMovie.
The favorite activity of the 6th grade science students in the past has been the catapult competition. The students will create a catapult and compete against other teams to launch a marshmallow later in the school year.
