IPTV's Dan Wardell Visits Anita Elementary School
Storytelling is a Hit with Students!

Iowa Public Television's Dan Wardell visited Anita Elementary School on Tuesday, December 1, 2009, sharing his love of books and storytelling with the students. He read the story Rumble in the Jungle to the kindergarten and first grade students. Students and teachers were involved in all the animal actions and noises to make the story come alive. With the second through fifth grades, Dan presented Snow White and the Seven Super Heroes, talking about healthy foods, getting lots of movement and turning the t.v. off for a more healthy lifestyle.
